![<div class=ru><p>Дата фото: 09.11.2017</p><p>К зиме зацвёл нанантус ленточный <em>Nananthus vittatus</em> (вольный перевод с латыни — в заголовке), и стало понятно, почему он получил эпитет «полосатый/ленточный».</p><p>Это посев 2015 года, уже из земли виднеются те самые корни-типа-каудексы, которыми так славится растень. В горшке сидят 3 штуки — когда я решила, что пора бы их рассадить, было уже поздно. </p><p>Нанантусы относятся к той рвущей шаблоны категории суккулентов, у которых на родине дожди в основном выпадают зимой (причём неслабые — 300-400 мм в год). И я с ними каждый год не знаю — то ли летом поливать (наше лето за южноафриканскую зиму сойдёт?), то ли нет… Любимый компендиум llifle пишет, что они безпринципные оппортунисты, и в целом поливайте их когда хотите, они приспособятся. Ну как-то так и выходит.</p><p><span class=ubcl>нанантус ленточный <em>Nananthus vittatus</em> </span></p></div><div class=en><p>Photo taken on Nov 09, 2017</p><p>The first flower of <em>Nananthus vittatus</em> opened before the start of the winter, and now I understand why this plant got the Latin epithet <em>vittatus</em> — banded.</p><p>I sowed them in 2015; now I can already see some of the lovely caudex-like roots which make the plant so popular. There are three individual plants in the pot — when I thought that it is time to split them, it was already too late.</p><p>Nananthuses are from the strange category of succulents which come from winter-rainfall areas. And there is quite a lot of rain — 300-400 mm/year. Every summer I ponder if I should water them (does our summer look like South-African winter?). My favourite encyclopedia llifle writes “<a target=_blank href=> it is indeed a very adaptable species that can grow opportunistically in summer too if the water availability and growing condition are favourable</a>”.
