![<div class=ru><p>Дата фото: 05.10.2014</p><p>Колючки — гордость и красота ферокактуса. Молодые колючки — красные, их довольно легко расшатать и отломать. Затем они взрослеют, чернеют и становятся крепкими, как дерево. Даже когда эти кактусы стали весьма увесистыми, я запросто переносила их с места на место, держа за пару расположенных с противоположных сторон колючек, как кастрюлю за ручки.</p><p>Но такие колючки на постоянно чебурахающемся существе — это, конечно, боль. Поскольку 2 раза в год это приходилось как-то упаковывать в ящик и затем расставлять на полках, я честно скажу — они натурально задрали и меня, и некоторых своих соседей.</p><p><span class=ubcl>ферокактус полуостровной <em>Ferocactus peninsulae</em> </span></p></div><div class=en><p>Photo taken on Oct 05, 2014</p><p>The spines are the proudness and the beauty of the Ferocactus. Young spines are red, and you can twist the off rather easily. When they become mature, they turn black and very solid. Even when these cacti became rather heavy, I often used two opposite spines as handles to carry them from one place to another.</p><p>For sure, such spines on an unsteady creature are a big pain.
