This is a happy (and rare) case when I take a plant, play with it and give back; thus, I don't need to search for a new place for it :))). I begged to give me these three exhausted little cacti. I don't know how sick they were made in the flower shop. After the purchase (in summer) they were placed on a table for some time. The table stood near a window looking to the south, but… you know, a human cannot live under a hot sunlight, right? A human needs to close window shades so that it would not be too hot and too bright.

One of the cacti died very soon. The autopsy showed that it was the only one from the four who tried to grow in these conditions (it was the only one whose roots grew). With a catastrophic lack of light, it rotted abruptly — a usual routine for a succulent. The rest three dried up (I think the potting mix in which they were sold did not become wet during rare waterings) and stayed in a “frozen” state for several weeks or months.

Finally, during New Year vacations I got my greedy hands on them (as I watered the plants while others were on journeys). I could not pull them out of coma secretly, without repotting, so after the vacation, I asked to give them to me for a while.
